Just launched. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether it’s beneficial to transfer three devices to the new plan, that already have set time AppleCare cover?
I would suggest it would depend on how much time is left on the original AppleCare and if your devices are (as required) under four years old, and also you think the benefits of the new cover are worth any extra.
Update: I’ve had a long chat (1hr 24mins!) with Apple today and for me AppleCare One is going to save money. They have refunded the unused portion of the AppleCare + I had on two devices and have added another device that was uncovered. Over all this will give me more cover over a longer time at a reasonable cost (saving £4.98 a month).
