Apple has added a spam filter to the Messages app. One of our members was having a problem getting a confirmation pin from his credit card company to authorise a payment. After an hour and a half of digging, he discovered that indeed, Apple Intelligence had decided to treat that as spam. I have opted to go to Settings > Apps > Messages and turn off Filter Spam.
