iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Good Morning all, Santa has been kind to me this year by allowing me to update my iPhone 11 Pro Max to an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

May I ask, Is it possible to transfer the data on the 11 to the 17 whilst retaining the data on the 11, that is with the 11 having a new number?

When he drops off your new phone and you switch it on, it will ask if you want to transfer data from an old phone. Just follow the instructions on screen (you just have to put them side by side) and your data will be transferred.

The number is related to your SIM card. I can't remember what size the 11 took but if it's the same as the 17, just put it in the 17 and that will be your number and your data on the new phone. Just obtain a new SIM with new number for the old phone.

Thank you Mick, I was up at the crack of dawn, found my phone and have transferred everything as you suggested.

Another pleasant surprise, I also found a new Series 11 watch.
