Catalina and Lightroom 6

Avatar Rick Churchill
Has anyone updated to Catalina and tried out Lightroom 6 (the non-subscription version)?

I'm just watching and waiting - in particular waiting for Softpress to bring out a 64 bit version of FreeWay so that I can maintain my website. I'll try to get along to the Bournemouth meeting on Tuesday though so Tony can tell me what I'm missing out on!

From the Lightroom Queen:
Lightroom 6.14 itself is 64-bit, but the installer and licensing code are 32-bit. If it’s already installed, Lightroom 6.14 may continue to work, but you won’t be able to install, uninstall or reactivate it. For these reasons, Adobe does not recommend using it on Catalina and it is not supported on Catalina.

As you're all waiting for someone else to try Lightroom on Catalina i.e. you want someone else to take the risk so you don't have to, I recommend all Lightroom users put their names into a hat and we'll draw out the unlucky one 😉

For family reasons, Tony will not be attending on Tuesday so we may or may not have information on Catalina (see this week's bulletin).
