Mac "Numbers" Locked

Using Numbers v5.1, I have a spreadsheet to edit. It opens on my iMac (OS 10.13.6) desktop but appears to be locked. eg. trying to add a row below the last entry but this option is greyed out in the "Table" top menu. Help anyone please.

See if you can drag the "add row" icon (bottom left under the row numbers) downwards to add rows.

Can't see the "add row" icon Mick. Think I am in the wrong window but can't see how to switch. This is not allowing me to edit some figures either. Am beginning to prefer the old version!

Have you gone to the Print window? If so, click Done (bottom right)
