Preferences Error

Am starting the year with another pop-up query. When trying to check the settings under Security, this message popped up: "Could not load Security & Privacy preference pane." Should this open from the Preferences panel and if so, what could be stopping it? Using os High Sierra v10.13.6 on my iMac.

Update: Today the Security & Privacy preference pane has opened!

In High Sierra, it only opens on Saturdays ;-)

Ah, thanks Mick, I thought there must be a 'technical' reason!
