David P showed how, in Safari, Reading Lists can be used to facilitate access to web sites both on-line and off-line. We also looked at how to copy a link to a section of a web page which you have highlighted (as opposed to simply sending the link to the whole web page).

The bulk of the meeting was taken up discussing possible alternative venues and in particular where and when we should hold a meeting in which we hope to relaunch the club and attract more members. We discussed various means of promoting, publicising the club ahead of the relaunch. It was agreed we should seek to change the date to the 1st Tuesday in the month and to hold the relaunch meeting in the Skyrm Room on 7th October. We would then take stock as to numbers of members which will determine future venues. Please note, until such time as we have secured an alternative venue and notified all attendees there is no change of venue or date. THERE WILL BE NO MEETING IN AUGUST. THE NEXT MEETING IS IN THE STRODE ROOM ON 16TH SEPTEMBER.
