It's surprising how many of our group actually have trail cameras and/or cameras in bird boxes. Mick showed the sort of cameras he uses in both situations and then some footage of hedgehogs, foxes, cats chasing foxes(!) and a blue tit in a newly installed nest box. Tricia then talked us through her setup which is slightly different so a wide variety of possibilities was covered. A pleasing number of attendees were then able to offer their experiences and in some cases, video or stills to go with it.

Not wanting to spend a lot on a wildlife camera I bought the Campark mini wildlife camera for just under forty pounds from Amazon and I was surprised how good it was. It has a good range of adjustments for experimenting. It seems a good choice for anyone starting to dabble.
