An ITV investigation showed how easy it is to purchase credit card info online. The investigator had been given a free sample as a loss-leader which he checked with an appalled owner as all the information was correct. We then went on to look at some telephone scams including one purporting to be from HMRC and finally some of those still coming through by email.

After the break we looked at Time Machine in operation both as a means of retrieving a lost or corrupt file and also as a means of setting up your Mac from scratch following a disaster or getting it ready for sale. The meeting was rounded off with the usual Q&A session on anything Apple.
