In May we had 11 Members as Mick enlightened us about current scams covering Telephone and Email scams, Fraud and Identity Theft showing how easy it is for people to get hold of our information. We covered the weaknesses in Banks systems, compromised websites, being fooled by so called celebrity endorsements.

He went on to talk us through Time Machine which can be helpful in retrieving lost or earlier versions of files, running through Set Up, how to back up automatically and other useful Options.

After a question and answer session Euan gave a quick rundown of an iOS app called ’What3Words’ which identifies any 3 metre x 3 metre square on a map anywhere in the world using a unique 3 word address.
