Mick gave us a talk on handling photos, aimed at those of us who have loads! We first of all looked at Apple's iCloud offerings - iCloud Photo Library, My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing. There were lots of questions as the talk progressed, people clearing up their misunderstandings or making sure they'd grasped it. He then went on to cover freeing up space on your device - perhaps not needed as much on a Mac as on an iOS device. As well as the obvious "copy to your Mac", we also looked at USB sticks with a lightning connector on one end and a conventional USB A on the other. These can be used for storage or indeed to transfer files to and from the Mac by using the free app designed to go with them. The final part of the talk looked at getting your photos printed if you don't want to do it yourself. We looked at Apple, PhotoBox and SnapFish although there are others. All three offered cards, calendars and books as well as prints.
