Salisbury — Jan 31st 2017

Mick gave a presentation of the features of iCloud and iCloud Drive, mentioning first how they used to be combined as Mobile me and then just iCloud before being "split" into two separate items. He showed us what each does, how they should work and how to troubleshoot if they don't behave as expected!

After coffee & biscuits there was a lively question and answer session covering both the iCloud/iCloud Drive presentation as well as unrelated subjects. We had suggestions for getting an iPhone video onto DVD for playing in a standard DVD player, the pros and cons of updating a 2009 MacBook Pro with an SSD and the reasons for files being slow to upload to DropBox.

As well as the usual attendees we had two potential new members and one guest all of whom we hope to see again.
