It was nice to have a demo that had been requested! This month, Denis gave an excellent follow-up to his previous PhotoShop presentation, showing us more of the versatility of the full version - CS6. He did point out that it can be rented for a monthly fee if the eye-watering price of purchase is beyond your budget but that a lot of what he showed us was also available in the much cheaper Elements version. Watching Denis work was proof indeed that "the camera never lies" is truly a myth! One of the features he showed us will be of particular interest to photographers. CS6 (but not Elements I think) now has a feature to mimic the blur produced by depth of field. I didn't check but whilst it can produce the blur, I doubt it's capable of removing it if produced in the camera!

Of course we had the usual questions and answers and covered such things as USB Flash Drives not mounting on the desktop and as Mountain Lion had been released a few hours earlier, should I install it! Doug has kindly offered to be our guinea pig and will install it and give us first impressions next month.
