Salisbury — Apr 28th 2010

A slightly smaller turnout this month with only nine of us present. The format was also slightly different in that there was no formal presentation given however this meant that the whole meeting was given over to problem solving and general discussions based around Macs.

Our first issue was that none of us could actually gain access to the Internet at the meeting! Having spent a good deal of time on this we finally found the rugby club manager and persuaded him to reboot his router. This turned out to be the problem and we had instant access. That may in fact be a good tip for any of you that find you can't get Internet access for no apparent reason - switch your router off and then on again.

We went on to discuss plug-ins for the iLife suite, BT Openzone and other WiFi hotspots, rambled through various other topics and finished with an explanation of how to replace icons in Mail which have somehow gone missing.
