Bournemouth — Dec 15th 2009

Despite appalling weather and the close proximity of Christmas, neither of which is conducive to a large turnout for any meeting there was a respectable number of hardy souls present at Solutions, to be greeted by a surfeit of mince pies - half provided by your Committee, and half, as a welcome surprise, by Solutions.

Solutions were once more unfortunately unable to give a presentation on the features of Snow Leopard, so instead there was a round-up of some of the problems found by Snow Leopard users with some answers to a few of these. There were also some enhancements for the Magic Mouse. A copy of this list can be had from Michael Corgan.

After that Michael ran through the points presented at Dorchester by Dave Churchill in his coverage of Google services. Again, a copy of this can be had from Michael.

After a break to dispose of as many mince pies as possible we launched into the annual Christmas Quiz (thanks once again to LMUG for that) the winner receiving - a box of mince pies! We also raffled a copy of the John Wiley Portable Genius Guide to Snow Leopard. All this excitement was followed by a round table discussion on problems and answers which went on for an enjoyably long time!
