      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">My wife and myself have separate accounts on our Macbook and I was wondering whether there was a way of sharing the iTunes and iPhoto library between the two accounts.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Have a look at the Home Sharing feature. Not sure if it will work on the same Mac but it might if both users are logged in. Alternatively, keep the library on an external drive.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I tried the home sharing facility and it happily finds the iTunes library on my iMac from both accounts on the Macbook, but it doesn't find the iTunes library on the other account.  When you switch accounts it seems you automatically log out of the other account; unless there is a tweak to keep both accounts live.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Lionel, The two users  will have different iTunes libraries, but it is possible to have both libraries based on a shared iTunes Media Folder.
