Today, when I print Number documents (some I have been using for over a decade) only the grid appears together with those cells with coloured figures or background. Saving the Numbers spreadsheet as a PDF again shows fine on Desktop but prints are defective as before.<xhtml:br/>

A temporary workaround is to take screenshots of each page and then print. However some of my pages are 50% normal size in order to get onto an A4 sheet. These have printed ok for years, but a single A4 portrait screenshot gives too poor quality, and for moment I have had to do pairs of landscape A4 sheets of the previously single sheet in order to get more passable quality. But this doesn't solve the problem which I presume is "Numbers" rather than "Print" related ?</xhtml:div>

I was misled by the appearance of Grid cells on Numbers document print, and everything printed on Screenshots. Obviously the black there is actually off-black or some dark shade of grey thus generated by the colour cartridges not the plain black.<xhtml:br/>

Phew. Answer was obvious ? Well unfortunately not to me. Panic over.<xhtml:br/>
