<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Personally I would not use a third party uninstall App. Unlike Windows where uninstalling via the OS is a necessity, software installation (on the whole) is very much straight forward and therefore uninstallation is similar. <xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Here's <xhtml:a href="http://guides.macrumors.com/Uninstalling_Applications_in_Mac_OS_X" target="blank">a link to some information on the matter.</xhtml:a><xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Specifically:<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:em>Caution is advised when using any automated method of deleting files, as such methods could result in files being deleted that you didn't want deleted. Many have reported problems caused by the use of apps like CleanMyMac and MacKeeper, so avoidance of these apps altogether may be wise.<br /><xhtml:br/>
Third party uninstallers exist which will search for these preference files for you, such as AppCleaner, AppTrap, AppZapper, CleanApp and TrashMe, but these apps will not remove all components of installed apps.</xhtml:em><xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
If an Application has it's own installer/uninstaller, use that. If not, just throw the Application (bundle) to the trash. There will be the odd preference file or cache folder hidden in your library folder. But these are generally small and of no consequence and little worse than what the uninstaller apps will do and potentially to lot better than what they might do!</xhtml:div>

It let me down last night by refusing to connect to the internet for about forty minutes, going repeatedly through it's self diagnostic process, until I reconnected my trusty old Netgear router. Which appeared to work perfectly until I tried to go to a website, when a bloody BT inspired page came up forbidding me to do so. Was I incensed, was I thoroughly P****d off at the sheer bloody-minded arrogance of a service provider who had taken over my personal property, my connection to the outside world, my means of communication, my beloved G5? But I mustn't get upset, I must calm down, there are more important things in life. I must go and road test my 1957 Golden Flash, and see if changing the inner tube put in by a prat of a so-called mechanic (it was a moped one for Heaven's sake!) for the one specified by BSA has made a difference to it's cornering ability. Only then will I be able to invite Angela Rippon to come away with me on a camping holiday, or Frances the school crossing lady, or Jane the stationmaster at Redruth, or those ravishing creatures at the Post Office OH GOD, WHERE AM I?</xhtml:div>
