Having downloaded the new Google app I put it to the test to show a route, but now cannot stop the route navigation. There is an option to Cancel but that takes me nowhere and I am now stuck in sat-nav mode! There is certainly no indication that I can find to get me back to the map. Has anybody else tried this app?
