      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Although an option appears to be provided to do this directly, Apple Support says that in practice it CANNOT be done.       It goes on to say that they should be dragged and dropped individually from the  attachment list onto the iPhoto icon in the Dock.  BUT, this workaround does not work for me.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
I have to save to desktop, then import to iPhoto.  This long route despite the apparent direct route offered in the save dialogue.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Anybody else found the problem,  and a quicker solution ?   Or do we have to await a fix from Apple?</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Yes it does but I find it a bit unwieldy to drag an opened photo (rather than the icon on the attachment list) onto the dock.  Also I found that multiple attachments means multiple drag &amp; Drops;  tedious.  Easier to "save all" to the desktop and then drag them as a group into iPhoto.<xhtml:br/>

But it would be easiest if the "Save to iPhoto" option would actually work!</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Also dragging the attachment directly into iPhoto and on a Folder or Album works as well.<xhtml:br/>

Since Apple is aware of the bug, expect the issue to be fixed in a future update.</xhtml:div>
