On some the details (cells) are shown line by line as normal but on others the cells are side by side on one line. They differ in this way in Contacts (mustn't refer to Address Book any more). This is not me entering two or more items in a single cell. I may/must be missing something but wondered if it depends what OS was being used when data was first entered. Any ideas?</xhtml:div>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Thanks for interest Mick. Yes, the layout in Contacts (Address Book!) is the same as printed. I'm sure it must be something to do with Country format, though my Contact General Preferences are set to UK. I have now made a test which I should have done before my initial post, making a fresh entry of one of the ones with the wrong layout. works fine. Ah, got it! Open individual contact click on the (postal) address heading work/home etc and it allows you to change address Country format. The wrong ones are set to US (one of my earlier Macs) and setting General Preference in Contacts to UK only effects new entries.</xhtml:div>
