Building complicated relationships can get difficult, but no more so than learning the software and how it works. I would say stick with it and build a simple tree at first, to find out how the software functions, as most of the family tree software (mac or PC) gets a bit of getting used to.</xhtml:div>

I must admit that I found it extremely easy to use and flexible. The author had an intention of bringing it into the world of OSX, and I will email him to ask if this is likely to happen. realistically though, I am pessimistic, and so would be very interested to hear John's conclusions when he has tried the three programmes mentioned. Please let us know!<xhtml:br/>

Have you looked at http://www.macgenealogy.org/ ? This website appears to provide an up to date record of genealogy software for the mac.</xhtml:div>
