      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Depending on the TV you may have an HDMI input or a VGA socket<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
On your Macbook you may have a DVI output, a Thunderbolt out put or possibly a VGA output (I have not seen one on a Macbook)<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Get a cable that bridges between the Macbook output and the TV input.<xhtml:br/>
You can get<xhtml:br/>
 a DVI to HDMI cable<xhtml:br/>
a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable<xhtml:br/>
or a DVI to VGA adapter and then a VGA to VGA cable.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
So select the cable to suit your output and input sockets.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
On the TV use the input selector to receive the correct input.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Good luck</xhtml:div>
