Some pages just refuse to display properly. http://store.apple.com/uk/questions/product/H6094ZM/A displays: Apple Store Mac iPod iPhone iPad iTunes Support etc etc All show as as above as hyperlinks. If I click on Support it takes me to a correctly displaying version of the support page. Some sites are OK others have variations of this type of thing. I have had problems with some Amazon pages but not all. It is all a mystery to me. On a few occasions I have had some pages not opening fully in Safari and have then used Firefox successfully. After a while the problem goes away. I associate the problem with network issues outside of my control.
