Some I can answer but this one I can't. My daughter wishes to transfer all her contacts from her PC to the iPad 2 to save typing them all in manually. They have been told that the only way is to 'stream' them via iCloud, but since they do not have iCloud I wondered if there was an alternative way, possibly via an app. Could anyone help me please? We have tried via iTunes which she has on her Samsung PC but without any success. Another possibility would be to use Dropbox, which is available for PC Mac and iPad and free up to 2gb. 2012-01-21T17:58:50+00:00 https://www.augwessex.org.uk/discussions/view/706#3183 Gordon Clyne info@augwessex.org.uk https://www.augwessex.org.uk/ John, Have your daughter create an account on one of your macs, and synch the ipad with that account. then on the PC, export all the contacts as a Vcard or some format that the mac understands, and move, copy, or otherwise get the PC addresses file to her account. import them into contacts, and sync away. this may sound long winded, but if you have a lot of contact data, it beats re-typing.
