      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Can anyone who is experienced with Numbers help me to set up a facility for automatically copying  the contents of a cell to an address on another table in the same sheet.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I have found the solution, simple when you know how.  For anyone who was also scratching their head about this, here is the answer.<xhtml:br/>
Create a formula for the cell you wish to copy TO naming the table and cell address you are copying FROM e.g.  CARCOSTS Table1:$H$25 .  Notice the $symbols in the cell address.</xhtml:div>
