I can't make it work although I have turned on file sharing which says that others computers on the network can communicate. Look for the sentence: "Computers on your local network can access your computer at: GrahamNews-Macbook.local" or similar. 5. your Mac will look for the other one and ask for user name and password. Enter this for that other Mac, ie. the one you are connecting TO! 6. I can get to the box 'Registered User 'which asks for user name and password but reject all attempts. In the Guest Box I can get to a 'Drop Box' but I can't open that as I do not have the necessary permissions. Where am I going wrong? How do become a Reistered User?
