<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Following the excellent demo of iWeb by Mark at Bournemouth I have been inspired to try my hand at making a web site. But... I do not use iPhot and it would seem that iweb will only accept photos from that source. Dragging a photo file onto a placeholder or a shape has no effect. Can anyone tell me what is the right way to go about this - or is it only possible to add photos through iPhoto?</xhtml:div>

Peter has produced a website using iWeb and this is his reply: " I resize my images to around 600px in Lightroom but any programme would do. (I don't know how iWeb handles images if you just size them on the fly so I prefer to keep them small in the first place.). I open Finder and then drag them onto the page in iWeb. I don't use iPhoto anywhere in this process."<xhtml:br/>
