Go to Keychain Access.app (probably in Applications>Utilities, unless you have moved it). Open it, and from the Keychain Access menu, choose Keychain First Aid. It will need your admin password to run. I have found out that the sites I was using do not allow saving of passwords. I did this by trial and error
