Knowing he is an Apple fanatic, I asked if he had an iPad on order. With that, out of his bag he produced 'the product'. He had one sent over from the States three days after it was released.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
First impressions were: 'I want one'. Swiftly followed by: Look at those finger marks. The screen does mark up very badly. But, it is a fantastic bit of kit. it's very light, slightly smaller than I had imagined and once the 'creatives' start exploiting its features, I think Apple will be on to another winner. But those finger marks are a problem.</xhtml:div>

After all, Apple managed to make it fashionable to have white bits of wire hanging out of your ears, so turning people on to funky fingerwear should be easy.
