<xhtml:br/>
First import your movie into iMovie, and make a project out of it. Then select the project, and go to the Share menu. Choose Share - Export Movie. Click the button for Mobile when it asks you what Size to export. Export to iTunes (or your desktop and then drag into iTunes), and then sync the movie to you iPod touch.<xhtml:br/>

Hope this is useful. I am sure that there are other ways to do it, too...</xhtml:div>

Don't have a copy of Toast but have now found a solution that works for me.<xhtml:br/>
Import video to iTunes<xhtml:br/>
Connect the iPod to iMac and of course iTunes will open.<xhtml:br/>
Click on iPod icon on the left hand side of iTunes.<xhtml:br/>
Go to Summary and select MANUALLY manage Music, Videos.<xhtml:br/>
Drag and drop your video clip onto the iPod icon<xhtml:br/>
The video clip now plays on the iPod. From what I can see the clip has been formatted into Mpeg4!</xhtml:div>
