      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Onyx 2.1 came out of Beta today, This version is ONLY for Snow Leopard. Access via VersionTracker.<xhtml:br/>
It's very important to use the right Onyx for your MacOSX system. Do not use 2.1 while a USB modem is plugged into your Mac, there's still a bug in there.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
In addition to Disc Utility functions such as repairing permissions and checking disc structure, Onyx is a great programme for cleaning caches and other general maintenance functions. For example, a corrupt font left in the font cache can cause all manner of weirdness. <xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Learn how to use it sensibly, and always back up. Onyx is replete with (yellow triangle) warnings about activities that could come back and bite you, and the help files are a (geek's) education in themselves. Don't go mad, do your homework... Enjoy!</xhtml:div>
