      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">For the past 2-3 years Mac support at PC World in Poole has been as bad as it ever has been (even in the dark days of the late 90's). However, it's nice to visit the place if only to see what was last seasons Mac ;-)<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Surprisingly (?) the store had a good range of the latest hardware, a lovely 24in iMac with the cool super slim keyboard. I talked to one of the staff and it appears the store will be getting a proper Mac 'store within a store'.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
This is scheduled for 12th November and the place is building up a large stock of Mac stuff for the store, shame little of the software is out at the moment!<xhtml:br/>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I had a visit to PC World Poole today. There's a big 'stage' with a 3 iMacs, 1 Macbook pros and 2 Macbooks, each with different versions of the iPod besides them and some peripheral equipment around the sides of the stage. There's also a (Mac) knowledgeable attendant present but very little software choice.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Although the stage is an expensive looking set, it still looks like a half-baked attempt to sell just the computer and not the whole package (software and all).<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Ho hum.<xhtml:br/>
