      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Are you using Adobe Photoshop? If so, use the File - Automate - Contact Sheet II command. You can also access it from Adobe Bridge from the Tools - Photoshop menu.<xhtml:br/>
If you are using iPhoto, then use File - Print (or Cmd-P) then choose Contact sheet from the Themes. It then gives you several tweaking options.<xhtml:br/>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Thank you Tony, I didn't express myself clearly. What I meant was which is the cheapest program to use. I've installed iPhoto 4 from a CD, which refuses to work on the grounds that 'the program might be incomplete or damaged'. It is an Apple CD 'for systems without a DVD drive', and I installed it using Pacifist. I have got a DVD drive but, using Pacifist, I successfully installed iMovie 4 from the same CD, which works perfectly.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">You can print multiple photos on one sheet in iPhoto (at least you can in iPhoto 08).<xhtml:br/>
In the main window select all the photos you want to print by holding down the command key (apple key) as you select.<xhtml:br/>
Go to the file menu and select Print.<xhtml:br/>
In the choices panel  the side of the Print dialogue box choose Contact Sheet.<xhtml:br/>
When the new window opens, use the Columns slider at the bottom to adjust the size of the images.<xhtml:br/>
Then click print </xhtml:div>
