      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I am trying to move music files that I made from vinyl records and stored on an external HD via my iMac, running Sonoma, to my iPhone, but cannot get them to move! Most of the online advice refers to iTunes, which as I understand it, has been incorporated into the Music app. <xhtml:br/>

Am I attempting the impossible, or does it just feel that way?</xhtml:div>

First in the mac drag the tracks into the songs list of the Music app.<xhtml:br/>
If you just want those tracks rather than all your music tracks, create a playlist by selecting them and right clicking and following the create playlist option.<xhtml:br/>
Quit Music<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Next , check that the phone is listed in the left panel of a FINDER window. (You may have to connect it via cable)<xhtml:br/>
Select the phone and then the music tab<xhtml:br/>
Select either entire library, or selected playlists<xhtml:br/>
Assuming it's a playlist, click playlists option (further down the window)<xhtml:br/>
Tick the playlist that you created.<xhtml:br/>
Click sync!<xhtml:br/>
