      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Vodafone are offering to accept old iPhones and give them to people who need a phone.  My old iPhone 5s has somehow lost its SD card.  If I use the one from my SE2020 to activate the phone and then clear it, what is actually stored in the phone's memory as opposed to the SD card? I don't want to lose all the mail, messages, contact details and calendar info that I have on the SE.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">It would be unusual to store anything on a SIM card in an iPhone. Do you actually need to put the SIM in the 5s to clear it?</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The phone is asking to be connected to iTunes and will not go past that opening screen - but that is no longer on my iMac.  I shall now send the phone off to Vodafone.Thanks for the reassurance Mick.</xhtml:div>
