<xhtml:br/>
Dear Volunteer<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Last year we had a really great response from the excellent stand, signing-up many new MUG members.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
You might have helped on the UK MUGs stand at Mac Expo. This year we again have a stand at MacLive Expo 2007, Olympia, Kensington, London. October 25-27. We would be very grateful if you'd like to volunteer this year.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Volunteers are wanted, to man the UK & Irish MUGs stand in two hour shifts.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Michael Corgan (m_corgan@onetel.com) and let him know how many shifts from the list below, you would be prepared to do.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Please list the shifts in the order of your preference so that Elizabeth can draw up a rota:<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Thursday October 26th,     10-12am,    12-2pm,    2-4pm,        4-6pm<xhtml:br/>
Friday October 26th,         10-12am,    12-2pm,    2-4pm,        4-6pm<xhtml:br/>
Saturday October 27th      10-12am,    12-2pm     2-4pm         4-5pm<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Please include your MUG name, email address and contact phone number(s).<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
If you have not already done so, please pre-register for Mac Expo for admission tickets as the admission price escalates as the dates of the show get nearer (still free, as of 14th August 2007).<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
It's really important that we have 5-6 people on each shift as, in previous years, many new members have been recruited at Mac Expo and even new MUGs formed, from visitors to the MUGs stand, and the more time we have to talk to individuals the more likely they are to join their local group. This year the show is bigger and better - let's make our impact match!<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Manning the shift is great fun as, apart from meeting potential MUG members you also meet members of other MUGs who are assisting on the same shift. Remember it is not your knowledge about Macs that matters (we do not offer technical advice on the stand - if it is needed we direct enquirers to the LMUG list) but just enthusiasm for MUGs.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Best wishes - Peter Tucker & Michael Corgan, Mac Users UK & Ireland</xhtml:div>
