      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">If you have a Canon printer that won't run on Big Sur because Canon have stopped supporting that model, go to Gutenprint.  Their latest printer driver for Big Sur works and it is free.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
There is a slight mystery about it in that having downloaded and installed the driver, I could not find it in Spotlight.  But it works nevertheless.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I bought a Canon laser LBP226 recently and connected it via AirPrint.  It is currently used by 2 iMacs and a MacBook Air and has worked flawlessly on Big Sur.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I believe Michael and Mick are talking about old printers that Canon no longer support. I suspect that the printer you bought recently was new not secondhand.</xhtml:div>
