      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">In the past one was able to download the delta files for an OSX release - now it apears to be only possible via the Software Update App in the System Preferences folder<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
or <xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
is there a location that one can download the delta installation files outside of the Software Update process.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Apple appears to have changed its process so that standalone installers (including the old panacea of combo installers) are no longer available.<xhtml:br/>

The only info I have seen is from the ever-reliable Howard Oakley <xhtml:a href="https://eclecticlight.co/2021/02/07/last-week-on-my-mac-apples-scorched-update-policy/" target="blank">here</xhtml:a>.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Thanks - I had to install Big Sur .2 as if it was a new OS. So I had the download overhead. <xhtml:br/>
