      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">ZDNet and others are warning that the Big Sur system update <xhtml:a href="https://www.zdnet.com/article/apples-macos-big-sur-update-its-bricking-our-older-macbook-pro-laptops-say-owners/?ftag=TRE-03-10aaa6b&amp;bhid=27948014373367166250817081854772&amp;mid=13168222&amp;cid=1997808562" target="blank">may brick some 2013 1nd 2014 MacBook Pros</xhtml:a>. Apple is investigating, so it may be sensible for those users to pause for a while.</xhtml:div>
