This happens regardless of whether I am using my iCloud, Gmail or AUG Wessex accounts. All I have been able to find on line are suggestions that this behaviour could be caused by a "bad" email. At the moment the only solution I can envisage is to export all my mailboxes and then hope that the vital mailboxes (In, Sent, etc,) would be recreated so that I could try working with no old emails within the app. On my wife's Macbook Air, running Catalina, emails that she deletes just keep reappearing. She has only a Gmail account so perhaps I could delete it for her and open a new email account, but would want to know that this would work before trying it! Has anybody experienced these annoying symptoms, and hopefully found a cure?
