There is no signal for the Virgin pay-as-you-go SIM card. No dialling tone and the calls fail. It could well be that Virgin don't allow wi-fi calling on a pay as you go as they wouldn't make any money from your calls. It works when outside with a Virgin signal. I didn't realise they could restrict usage on Wi-Fi like that but can understand why.
