      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Am preparing a spreadsheet in Numbers '08 version 1.0.3 on my iMac OS 10.13.4 and wonder how I can colour some of the figures?  I need red to denote a loss.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Problem solved, thanks to a phoned 'teach-in' from Michael C. The 'key' was in the top menu bar, whilst a cell was selected, clicked 'Format' - 'Fonts' - Colour sliders - RGB slider to red and 'hey presto!  Many thanks Michael and I may update 'Numbers' later - if it doesn't cost!</xhtml:div>
