      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">When my iMac goes into sleep mode at night it will not start up in the morning when I press any key or the track pad, this has happened since the latest update to 10.13.1. The only way I can start the iMac is to hold down the power button, and then it starts in Guest User account. Can any one suggest what I might do to sort this out</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The update - was it from 10.13.0? Is your keyboard wireless? If so, can you try a wired one? Have you tried a quick press of the power button rather than a "hold down"?</xhtml:div>

I have just finished trying out several things and repairing the HD and powering down my backup disc seems to have sorted it out.
