See Version tracker. As many will tell you you do not need virus checking for the Mac yet, but as a courtesy for your non mac friends, you like to be sure you are not sending anything nasty to them in a forwarded e-mail. ClamX can be set to scan any folder you like. I guess so. I notice in the Top features panel it suggests that "... you may want to turn it off when you are backing up your Mac". This seems to be a problem if Time Machine is set to get on with backups automatically - or is it? A related question: If I install some version of Windows can I keep it totally off line and avoid the fear? 2008-08-28T18:41:48+01:00 https://www.augwessex.org.uk/discussions/view/140#624 Rodney May info@augwessex.org.uk https://www.augwessex.org.uk/ I've had Windows XP installed on my mac for some time now purely to update data on my sat-nav, not one bit of trouble of any kind ,yet.To install Windows XP 32 Gb was separated from the hard-drive, so unless you open it for whatever I guess you shouldn't get any problems, but on reflection why would one want to install never to use it?
