If you compress a single item, the compressed file has the name of the original item with the .zip extension. If you compress multiple items at once, the compressed file is called Archive.zip. Uncompress (expand) an item: Double-click the .zip file. You might perhaps also want to make a disc Image (.dmg) using Disc Utility: File > New Image > Image from Folder. Don't forget Airdrop on more recent Macs when the two devices are close to each other, nor the new Mail Drop when you need to send very large attachments. The total size is about 191 MB. It took about two hours to send them but it was very simple.
