<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Despite having a DVD burner installed I have failed miserably to make the thing work. (It will happily burn a CD using Toast.) My Mac is a G4/400 and I have fitted the maximum amount of RAM (total 1344 mb) and the largest additional hard drive the machine will take (112 gb), to no avail. According to System Profiler the DVD drive is a Pioneer DVD-R/CD-RW, which is described lower down in System Profiler as a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109 Revision 1.17 and Driver version 1.4.7. There seems to be an anomaly here, with System profiler describing it both as a DVD-R and a DVD-RW: is this a clue? I am using OS 9.2.2. If this is the problem I am willing to install OSX Tiger on the other hard drive, which is the latest version my machine will run. Help!</xhtml:div>
