      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Have just received an email from "Apple" but putting the cursor over this I see: "tomoko@sowa-s.co.jp".<xhtml:br/>
The subject is: "Please Confirm Details To Unblock Your Apple Account"<xhtml:br/>
The message says: "We have detected an unauthorized sign in on your Apple ID"<xhtml:br/>
"As a part of our security measures your Apple ID was locked.<xhtml:br/>
While your Apple ID is locked, you cannot use your Apple software, also access to your iCloud is limited. <xhtml:br/>
If you want to unlock your Apple ID, please click here."<xhtml:br/>

Do you agree it's a scam and if so, to what Apple address should I forward it?   Roy</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Hi Roy. Apple are probably very well aware if it's a scam - the real issue is what you should do about your account.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Why not first try using your Apple id to log in to, say the App Store or iTunes. If this works, your account hasn't been blocked, and the email is a scam.<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
Then follow the <xhtml:a href="https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201355" target="blank">instructions here</xhtml:a> to change your password just in case.</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Treat it as a scam, then check that you can log into your Apple account in the normal way via your regular browser.<xhtml:br/>

AS for alerting Apple  - there are lots of contacting information at<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:a href="http://www.apple.com/contact/" target="blank">Apple contact info</xhtml:a><xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
I doubt if this scam email is new to Apple though - I think I have received one or two as well.</xhtml:div>
