      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I've just renewed my MacUser subscription too. I thought they did a good job with their facelift a few months back, trying to carry background articles rather than compete with the Web for news etc.<xhtml:br/>

I wonder what they'll offer to subscribers. I have a funny feeling that it's more likely to be a subscription to PC Pro than a refund  :-))<xhtml:br/>

They're offering a subscription to MacFormat magazine. Does anyone have any comments on that one?</xhtml:div>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">I like MacFormat, I’ve often bought a copy over the years and have now subscribed to it. It’s been going since 1993, although I don’t remember it that far back!<xhtml:br/>
<xhtml:br/>
There are usually enough interesting things to read, I like the ‘How To’ articles and also some of the feature ones. There is always a section showing the current Apple devices and the dates when they were last updated.<xhtml:br/>

Also included each month is an advertisement for all the UK Mac user groups, including WAMUG (see page 69 in the Feb edition).</xhtml:div>

I have been asking MF to update it and have sent them in the new listing, but after 6 months still no response apart from their newest editor saying that something would be done early this year.  Anyone who has a yearning to visit another MUG while in a different part of the UK please give me a call and I'll let you have the latest Group listing as appropriate.</xhtml:div>
