I press "Share" > Word and they appear as an attachment in an e-mail. Since upgrading to Yosemite I can no longer do this. The 'Share" feature has been greyed out. Am I the only one with this problem? Or is it a bug in the system. Your assistance will be gratefully received, as I have an AGM to deal with in the very near future and lots of documents to e-mail to over 33 members. From what Drew told me, in earlier versions of the OS he has been able to select a group of documents and then using the Share menu, convert them to Word and insert them into an email in Mail. Whereas Export, which I also use, can only convert one document at a time. Given a Pages document do this: go to the "Share" menu at the right of the top menu bar click on "Send a copy" choose "Mail" choose "Word" choose .docx or, for wider acceptability, .doc. Your file appears converted to a Word .docx or optional .doc within an email ready to send (apart from address and subject). Yes. It seems he is running the latest version of Pages (5.5) but under an earlier OS (Mavericks?) than Yosemite (he sent me a screen shot). Because Yosemite has very significant changes in all inter-Apple hard and software (e.g. "Continuity" etc., the sharing facilities in all the Apple App updates delivered after Yosemite was made available to all probably have similar issues. Solution? I believe that my 2010 Mac Book Pro (mid 2010) is functioning as it should be with no noticeable problems. However I believe that there may be a few problems with Yosemite. The Apple Support Site is well worth reading before you "Upgrade?". I believe that I as well as many others, may have a Wi-Fi problem Thank you to all who have taken the time to assist me with this problem, this is what being a member of WAMUG is all about.
